Hi, I’m Danielle

I am a trauma therapist in Fountain Inn,SC. I believe anyone can benefit from identifying how their past is affecting their present and then using this information to make changes for their future. Because of this, I also work with individuals struggling with anxiety, depression, family related issues, and self-esteem.

What to expect

  • Clients who tend to have the most success with me come to therapy as an active participant and want an active therapist as well. With me, you share your experiences, desires, and the expertise you have on your life and I challenge, make observations, and offer suggestions that you are more than welcome to disagree with. We work as a team to figure out how to reach your goals together. Most change happens outside of therapy. Clients who make progress most efficiently are spending time outside of therapy doing and thinking about what we talk about.

As a Marriage and Family Therapist, I know how to understand you better through the context of your relationships and external world. Get ready to talk about how your relationships have impacted you and also how you have impacted your relationships.

Treatment models I use most frequently: CBT, CPT, IFS DBT, TF-CBT

  • I work mostly with individuals 12 and up. I provide as needed family therapy when working with clients under the age of 18. I am not providing couples therapy at this time.

You are safe here. I welcome clients of all races, cultures, gender identities, sexual orientations, abilities, faith traditions, and backgrounds. Everyone deserves a space where they feel safe, respected, and understood. I recognize the privilege that comes with my own identities and am committed to examining my own biases, listening with humility and continuing to learn from the communities I serve.

  • I have a Bachelor’s of Science in Psychology from Georgia Southern University.

I have Masters of Marriage and Family Therapy from Converse College. My masters program was intensive requiring me to gain more client contact hours than the state requires. During these hours of therapy, I was observed by multiple supervisors and peers who gave me direct, in the moment feedback that has allowed me a fantastic foundation to build on post grad.

I’m a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, license #7040
